Welcome to the historic Ye Olde Tavern. Imagine arriving by horseback, on foot or by coach, much like the 18th century guests. Our circa 1790 Colonial Inn is a perfect fire-lit refuge, where the road-weary can find a warm welcome and an extraordinary meal, complimented with a fine wine or spirit and attentive personal service. At Ye Olde Tavern, we serve innovative New England Country Cooking and Continental fare. Our menu is designed to take fullest advantage of the wealth and diversity of Vermont-grown ingredients and products. Ye Olde Tavern is proud to have a AAA 3 Diamond Rating and be a member of the Vermont Fresh Network. The Wine List at Ye Olde Tavern has been acknowledged with 'Wine Spectator Magazine', Award Of Excellence since the year 2003, 'Wine Enthusiast Magazine', Award Of Distinction since the year 2004 and 'Sante, The Magazine for Restaurant Professionals', Certificate of Achievement since the year 2005. Our Wine List is constantly evolving and being changed to bring our Guests the very best available wines. Reservations are not required, but recommended. The Early Bird Menu is served, Sunday thru Friday between 5:00-5:59pm (except during Holiday & peak periods). Our Tap Room opens daily for cocktails at 4:30pm. Major credit cards are accepted. Ye Olde Tavern is handicapped accessible and a smoke-free environment. Attire is casual neat.
